How this page was made
I will go into details later, but for starters, just some credits: the initial design impetus came from the Mozilla Firebird Help page, even though it only now resembles it in that it's in a box, and has another box as a side bar.
My old background was from one of Jeffery Zeldman's pages, Steal these graphics. The new background is from iStockphoto.com.
Zeldman uses the same fixed background technique, but I actually got that idea from Eric Meyer's css/edge page. (Note: If you are using Internet Explorer, this particular page of Eric's will look all screwed up. Go ahead and see. This is how poorly IE supports CSS. Use a better browser! Join the 21st century! Oh, whatever, do whatever you want. The page is actually very smooth if you have a good (gecko) browser.
Cascading Style Sheets and browser support
All done for tonight! More later.
