Welcome

Welcome to revividus.com, the web domain of Philip Crissman. This site is a work in progress, right now, so expect it to be updated regularly. If you would like to be notified of major content updates, send me an email, and I'll add you to the revividus.com mailing list. I do not and will not sell or share email lists with anyone; for more info, see the contact page.

NEW!

There's now a blog on the site. Whether I update it frequently remains to be seen.

The site is going to undergo a small redesign soon; not a major change like I just did, but some pages, (ie, one with nothing on them) leave, and others may spring up in their place. The reason for this being, I don't know that there's any point to me writing a whole bunch of stuff about C, Perl, etc, when much more, far better, information is already available elsewhere. So my content is going to be focused a little more narrowly, for now. Stay tuned.

News

06.18.03
The site just came up, and I will be going home to Canada this Friday for two weeks. So, probably no news or updates until later in July.

About

I originally started this webpage to host the java applets for my intro to java class. Of course, it was not necessary to purchase a domain name for that, but, in the back of my mind I thought I would sometime work up, well, something like what you are looking at now.

I have long valued the internet as a fine source of information on a variety of topics. This site will be my contribution, in the form of information and links. Topics will include computer science/programming, tech info, bible topics and studies, mathematics, music, and whatever else I decide to include.

During development, I mostly viewed this site with Mozilla Firebird 0.6, although I checked it with IE to make sure that others could view it also. Mozilla/Firebird is a far superior browser, and I heartily recommend that you visit the above link and download the latest stable version at once. If you reasons why you might want to switch from IE, check out One Good Reason.

Final notes

The design for this site is based on the Sinorca design by haran from the Open Source Web Design community. I tweaked the colors and various other things to make it as you see it today.

I also added icons. These are from Gort's Icons page, by a fellow named Forrest Walter, and Pardon My Icons, by Jeffery Zeldman. Many thanks to these individuals, and others like them, who make their fine artwork available for others to use.

I hope you enjoy the site, and find the information and links it contains to be useful, helpful, or entertaining. If you like it, or hate it, or have any feedback whatsoever, please send me an email to let me know. Thanks!
